7 reasons why men should do yoga

Men’s yoga? Isn’t yoga solely for women?

Many  people consider yoga to be primarily feminine. After all, men only  participate in traditional male sports such as soccer, basketball, and  martial arts.

Exactly!

Uh, no. In fact, men were the only ones who practised yoga! It is now used by both men and women.

True, until recently, the majority of yoga practitioners in the Western world were women, particularly slightly older women.

However,  in recent years, this has changed dramatically. Yoga is very trendy,  and we notice it in our courses as well. Our students range in age from  young men and women to people over the age of 65 and everything in  between.

So yoga for men at a yoga school in Rishikesh isn’t so far-fetched and can actually provide numerous benefits.

Is male yoga different from female yoga?

Everyone  has a unique yoga experience, and everyone practises yoga for different  reasons. It makes no difference whether you are male or female!
